Await Rays after sweeping White Sox
The Cleveland Indians (38-30, 1st AL Central) continue their winning ways after sweeping the Chicago White Sox with potent offense (19 runs) and effective defense (six runs allowed).
Next up for Cleveland is a three game series against the Tampa Bay Rays (31-36, 5th AL East) who are in the middle of a four game losing streak going back to June 16th against the Mariners.
“It’s nice to be the home team,” Indians manager Terry Francona said. “That was a pretty good game played well by both teams.”
