Tribe continue road trip

After taking two of three games against the Kansas City Royals (47-47, 4th AL Central), the Cleveland Indians (56-38, 1st AL Central) continue their road swing and hit Baltimore today to take on the Orioles (54-40, 2nd AL East) in a three game stand going through the weekend.

Taking the mound for the Indians will be Trevor Bauer (7-3, 3.36 ERA) while the Orioles will send Dylan Bundy (2-2, 3.70 ERA) to the mound.  Bauer turned into a starter this past Sunday and is 5-1 (2.78 ERA) on the road this season.  Bundy got his first start of the season last Sunday which he lost allowing four runs in 3 1/3 innings.

The Indians will return to Progressive Field next Tuesday to take on the Washington Nationals (57-39, 1st NL East).  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to grab yours today and be there next week to cheer on your American League Central leading Cleveland Indians

Tribe continue winning ways

Await Rays after sweeping White Sox

The Cleveland Indians (38-30, 1st AL Central) continue their winning ways after sweeping the Chicago White Sox with potent offense (19 runs) and effective defense (six runs allowed).

Next up for Cleveland is a three game series against the Tampa Bay Rays (31-36, 5th AL East) who are in the middle of a four game losing streak going back to June 16th against the Mariners.

“It’s nice to be the home team,” Indians manager Terry Francona said. “That was a pretty good game played well by both teams.”

The Tribe kick off their series against the Rays today at 6:05.  Josh Tomlin takes the mound, going up against the Rays’ Drew Smyly.  Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to grab yours today and cheer on your AL Central leading Cleveland Indians.
